Troop 284 focuses on adventures, fun activities and learning life-long skills.
Troop 284 offers many opportunities to get out and enjoy nature. We have about 9 scheduled camping trips each year that range from a week long summer camp at a variety of locations, national parks, regional sites, and a troop favorite, a winter survival focused camping adventure.
Part of being a good citizen, is giving back to your community and helping it grow. Troop 284 helps the community with working with local government and organizations to provide service projects to help out the community with clean up days, township projects, and Scouting for Food drive.
All Scouts want to have fun through their Scouting journey and Troop 284 is here to support that. At our camping events, there is always some sort of activity scheduled. Wither it is kayaking, whitewater rafting, hiking, biking, going to museums, and games, Scouts in Troop 284 will find fund and adventure. Families are encouraged to join in these adventures.
We hold our weekly meetings on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm at Wyndamere Heights Church at 736 Wyndamere Road, Lewisberry, PA 17339,
